Partner Software

The development of our simulation system Portunus® is carried out in close coordination with reputed international partners. Together with Cedrat S.A. from France, Motor Design Ltd. and the SPEED laboratory from the UK, we are aiming to provide a powerful product family for the design and analysis of electro-magnetic components and systems.
The software products cover all steps from the first component design to the simulation of the whole system. The products SPEED and Motor-CAD® support the electro-magnetic and thermal dimensioning of electrical machines by means of analytical calculations. The finite element software Flux® is well suited for detailed electro-magnetic and thermal investigations. InCa3D® allows for the analysis of parasitic inductances and resistances in bus bar systems. The component design may be followed by a system simulation performed in Portunus®.
The partners set a high value on easy data exchange between the software products. By means of coupled simulations, iterative calculations and interfaces for data import and export, SPEED, Motor-CAD®, FLUX®, InCa3D® and Portunus® are cross-linked and form together a strong design platform.
